The Xenon-lamp has been widely applied to tactical flashlights, which designed for multi-purpose especially for law enforcement, SWAT and military missions, police SWAT, law enforcement, marine, fire-fighting, rescue, outdoo , camping, hunting and personal safety, etc.
As a new generation of lighting technology, HID (High intensity discharge) offers more light per watt, longer life, and features a compact point source similar to incandescent, allowing good optical control. HID lamps produce light by striking an electrical arc across tungsten electrodes housed inside a hermetically sealed inner quartz glass tube, which withstands high temperature and pressure. This tube is filled with both gas and metals. The gas aids in the starting of the lamps. Then, the metals produce the light once they are heated to a point of evaporation. Like fluorescent lamps, HID lamps require a ballast system to start and maintain their operation.
Designed to hold up to the extreme demands of the tactical flashlights and searchlights, our innovated technology makes it possible to develop and manufacture tactical flashlight with HID lamps, which produces 3 - 4 times the light output compared to the average halogen lamp. This technology allows equipment to operate more safely with less load on the electrical systems.
